According to a published report, IU commit Devin Ebanks will likely stick with his original pledge and play for the Hoosiers.
St. Thomas More Prep Coach Jere Quinn told the newspaper that he fielded calls from six programs Tuesday inquiring about Ebanks' availability after the resignation of Rob Senderoff. But he said Ebanks told him he still intends to sign with Indiana during the early-signing period next month.
"Unless that changes, nobody's talking to him," Quinn told the newspaper.
HoosierNation.com's calls to Ebanks have not been returned.
Ebanks is the marquee player in the Hoosiers' four-man recruiting class that also includes 6'8" forward Tom Pritchard, 6'3" shooting guard Matt Roth, and 6'0" point guard Terrell Holloway. Scout.com's 13th-ranked player in the nation, Ebanks was recruited primarily by Senderoff who has now stepped down in the wake of the recent phone calls issues and subsequent self-imposed sanctions.
