Bloomington, Ind. – IU freshman guard Jordan Crawford will miss the next three games for violating team rules, IU Coach Kelvin Sampson announced Tuesday.
No further details were given about the violations, and Sampson said in a prepared statement he will have no further comment on the matter. Crawford will miss the Georgia Tech, Southern Illinois and Tennessee State games and will return for IU's Dec. 8 home game against Kentucky.
Crawford ranks third on the team in scoring (12.6 points/game) while coming off the bench in each of IU's first five contests. The Detroit, Mich., product is averaging 25.0 minutes/game and is shooting 51 percent from the floor.
