Updating IU's '08 Basketball Recruits

A look at what IU's '08 commits Tom Pritchard, Devin Ebanks, Terrell Holloway and Matt Roth have been doing in games as of late...

Matt RothWashington (Ill.) Community H.S.
Washington improved to 7-0 with a 62-45 win over Dunlap H.S., Friday night. It wasn't the best of days for Roth, though, who struggled through a 4-of-17 shooting night and finished with 13 points. After connecting on a 3-pointer with 4:12 remaining in the second quarter Roth went scoreless the rest of the night. With his 13 points Roth now has 1,594 for his career and has most to within 118 of breaking the school record of 1,711 held by former Purdue player and assistant coach Todd Foster. Earlier in the week Roth scored 22 in a 71-44 win over Normal U-High. Roth was just 1-of-9 from behind the 3-point arc and finished 7-of-19 overall.

Devin EbanksSt. Thomas More (Conn.) School
Ebanks' St. Thomas More (Conn.) team was 7-2 heading into a Friday night match-up against New Hampton Prep in Massachusetts. Ebanks' statistics have been unavailable.

Tom PritchardLakewood (Ohio) St. Edward's High School
Pritchard scored 23 points to lead St. Edward's to a 62-47 win over LeBron James' alma mater, St. Vincent-St. Mary's Friday night. St. Edward's (3-0) played the game without Michigan State-bound forward Delvon Roe, who is poised to miss the season after suffering a partially torn meniscus in the team's nationally-televised 78-73 overtime win over Campbell Hall (Cal.) H.S. The Cleveland Plain Dealer reported Roe is scheduled to have knee surgery on Monday and will be sidelined for six to eight months. Despite the loss of Roe and the off-season transfer of point guard Pe'shon Howard to Oak Hill Academy, St. Edward's is still ranked No. 12 nationally according to USA Today.

Terrell HollowayCincinnati Harmony Prep
Holloway is one of a slew of Division I players who is playing this weekend at the OCC White Squirrel Prep Classic in Olney, Ill. Among the other high-profile players participating in the eight-team, three-day event are Arkansas commit and one-time IU target Andre Clark (Genesis One Elite) as well as Milestone Christian Academy's Richard Anderson, whom the Olney Daily Mail reported is getting recruiting interest from IU as well as Illinois. Holloway's Harmony Prep played Olney CC Friday night, but no results were available.
