IU President Michael McRobbie will hold a press conference at 3 p.m. today at the IU Law School to outline the school's course of action in the wake the NCAA's allegations about IU basketball coach Kelvin Sampson.
McRobbie is expected to announce that the university will launch an investigation into the new allegations that surfaced in the NCAA's Notice of Allegations, which was made public Thursday. That investigation is expected to be brief, and IU Athletics Director Rick Greenspan is expected to give a recommendation to McRobbie on Sampson's future soon afterwards.
Sampson's regular weekly press availability, meanwhile, has been cancelled for Friday afternoon. Sampson was originally scheduled to talk about IU's match-up with Michigan State at 1:30 p.m.
Check back later today for additional news and details.
