According to a published report, Mobile, Ala., shooting guard Nick Williams is Bloomington-bound.
The Bloomington Herald Times is reporting that the 6-4, 200-pound guard from LeFlore H.S., has pledged to the Hoosiers, picking IU over Arkansas.
Williams, who originally signed to play for Tom Crean at Marquette, took an official visit to Arkansas over the weekend. But Williams has decided to follow Crean from Marquette and will play with the Hoosiers beginning next fall.
"Coach Crean is a great coach, he has great passion," Williams recently told HoosierNation.com. "One thing I really admire about him is he loves to win, and he's a great player developer. That's maybe the biggest reason I'd want to play for Coach Crean."
Williams is the 32nd ranked shooting guard in the nation according to Scout.com. He becomes the fourth member of IU's 2008 class, joining fall signees Matt Roth and Tom Pritchard as well as recent commit Devan Dumes.
