Friday Night Sites

Lawrence Barnett, CB, Ft. Wayne Bishop Luers – Barnett had successful surgery on his left ankle Aug. 27, as doctors inserted plates and screws to the ankle that Barnett broke in Luers' season-opening win. Doctors have told Barnett he needs to be off the ankle for six weeks, and he'll then have at least six more weeks of rehab – meaning his senior season is over. IU Coach Bill Lynch has told Barnett his scholarship remains safe.

Ted Bolser, TE, Cincinnati, Ohio (Indian Hill) – Indian Hill (3-2) won its 28th consecutive conference game with a 35-17 win over Reading. Indian Hill trailed 17-7 at halftime, but scored 28 unanswered points in the second half. Bolser's stats were unavailable. On the season, Bolser has 29 catches for 423 yards and three scores.

Dimitrius Carr, LB, Chicago (Ill.) Mt. Carmel H.S. – No. 11 Mt. Carmel (2-2) dropped its second straight game, falling to No. 2 St. Rita 35-21. Carr's stats were unavailable.

Charles Chapman, OT, Carleton (Mich.) Airport H.S. –Airport (2-1) played Monroe Jefferson Friday night. No results were available.

Jamonne Chester, WR, Redford (Mich.) Covenant H.S. – Chester caught only two passes, but one went for an 82-yard touchdown in Covenant's 54-0 over Romulus Summit Academy. Chester had two receptions for 102 yards in the game.

Javon Cornley, DE, Columbus, Ohio (Northland) - Due to the power outages in Ohio, Northland's match-up against Columbus Centennial was pushed back to Monday.

Mitch Ewald, K, Aurora, Ill. (Waubonsie Valley) – Waubonsie Valley (1-3) picked up its first win of the season with a 28-26 win over Neuqua Valley.

Jeremy Gainer, LB, Livonia (Mich.) Clarenceville H.S. – Clarenceville (3-1) lost for the first time this season, falling to Rochester Hills Lutheran Northwest 29-13.

Dusty Kiel, QB, Columbus East - Kiel had another monstrous performance, totaling 441 yards of total offense to lead No. Columbus East (5-0) to a 42-14 win over New Albany. Kiel completed 15-of-21 passes for 292 yards and one touchdown and added 13 rushes for 149 yards and two more scores. On the season, Kiel has completed 66-of-98 passes for 1,131 yards, 14 touchdowns and one interception, and he's rushed for 446 yards and six scores on 48 carries.

Pat McShane, OT, Cuyahoga Falls (Ohio) Walsh Jesuit H.S. – Walsh Jesuit (4-1) won its third straight, topping Padua Franciscan 14-10.

Adam Replogle, DT, Centerville (Ohio) H.S. - Centerville (4-1) enjoyed its easiest win of the season, whipping Miamisburg 54-0. Replogle's stats were unavailable. In addition to his work at defensive tackle, Replogle has carried 24 times for 100 yards and seven touchdowns.

Colin Rodkey, OL, Monroeville (Penn.) Gateway H.S. – Gateway (4-0) continues to dominates its foes, pounding Penn-Trafford 44-8. Gateway has now outscored its first four foes by a combined 187-31. Gateway is the top-ranked team in WPIAL Class AAAA according to the Pittsburgh Post Gazette.

Kenny Watkins, CB, Bloomfield (Mich.) Brother Rice H.S. – The fifth-ranked team in the state according to the Detroit Free Press, Brother Rice (3-0) plays Novi Detroit Catholic Central at 7 p.m.

Duwyce Wilson, WR, Columbus East – After being limited to one catch the previous week, Wilson bounced back with five catches for 103 yards in No. 1 Columbus East's (5-0) 42-14 win over New Albany (3-2). Wilson has 22 receptions for 447 yards and five touchdowns on the season.

Edward Wright-Baker, QB, Jeffersonville – Wright-Baker threw for 78 yards on 5-of-10 passing and rushed for 111 and three scores to lead Jeffersonville (2-3) to a 40-33 win over Floyd Central. On the season, Baker has completed 58-of-107 passes for 759 yards and three touchdown, and he's rushed for eight touchdowns.

Nick Zachery, QB/ATH, Sheridan – Zachery carried 15 times for 162 yards and three touchdowns to lead Class A No. 1 Sheridan (5-0) to a 34-13 win over Benton Central. Sheridan has now won 41 straight games and looking for its fourth consecutive Class A title. On the season, Zachery has 63 carries for 603 yards and 13 touchdowns, and he's 5-of-20 passing for 116 yards and one touchdown. Defensively he has scored on a fumble return and two interception returns.
