"We just got back home from an official visit with Indiana," said Honora Jankowski, the mother of quarterback Frank Jankowski.
"Indiana was beautiful. They have the best student union I've ever seen and the whole city of Bloomington was impressive.
"Coach (Gerry) DiNardo didn't offer a scholarship because he's waiting on answers from four more prospects that they have already offered.
"Coach (Al) Borges, the quarterbacks coach is due in Berwick this Tuesday. Coach DiNardo told us we could know something by the end of this weekend or at the beginning of next week."
Jankowski, a 6-foot-2, 200-pounder, from Berwick, Pennsylvania would be a very good pick-up for the Hoosiers.
Jankowski suffered through a deep thigh bruise in 2002 but still managed to throw for 1,000 yards on the season and he's thrown for 6,000 yards in his career.
Several D-1AA schools have offered Jankowski and Pittsburgh has offered a baseball scholarship.
Will the Hoosiers offer Jankowski a scholarship? Stay tuned. We should know something very soon.
