Bloomington – Washington (Ind.) junior Cody Zeller averaged 24.5 points over the weekend to lead his undefeated and top-ranked team to a pair of wins, while Muncie Central's Jeremiah Davis continued to struggle as his team dropped a pair of games. Victor Oladipo, 6-4, 200, Dematha Catholic (Md.) H.S. – After a couple of two-point wins a week earlier, DeMatha Catholic (16-0) had a much easier week with back-to-back double digit wins against St. Mary's Ryken and Paul VI Catholic. Oladipo had a big week as well, scoring 13 in 78-63 win over St. Mary's Ryken followed by a season-high 22 in a 70-54 win over Paul VI Catholic. DeMatha is 16-0 and ranked No. 10 nationally by USA Today. They face a huge test today at 5 p.m. when they taken on No. 19 Mater Dei (Cal.) H.S. today at 5 p.m. in Springfield, Mass. Oladipo is now averaging 11.3 points game.

Will Sheehey, 6-6, 190, Sagemont (Fla.) Upper School– After scoring 23 points to lead Sagemont to a surprisingly easy 60-35 win over Grandview Prep earlier in the week, Sheehey was limited to 16 in an 87-66 loss to White Station in the first-round of the Tournament of Champions event. The loss ended a season-high five-game winning streak for Sheehey's squad. Sheehey is averaging 19.8 points and 7.0 rebounds per game.

Matt Carlino, 6-2, 180, Bloomington (Ind.) South H.S. - Class 4A No. 1 Bloomington South improved to 12-0 with wins over Edgewood and Columbus East. The week started with an 89-43 rout of Columbus East, as Carlino finished with 10 points, eight rebounds, seven assists and four steals. The IU-bound junior followed that up with a 15-point, six-rebound, eight assists in a 72-48 win over Edgewood. Carlino is averaging 15.4 points, 5.8 rebounds and 4.8 assists and is shooting 51.1 percent from the field (70-of-137) and 39.3 percent from behind the 3-point arc (24-of-61). South returns to action Friday at home against Martinsville before going on the road to face Franklin Central Saturday. South is ranked No. 9 nationally by USA Today.

Austin Etherington,6-6, 190, Hamilton Heights (Ind.) H.S. - Hamilton Heights (9-3) extended its win streak to five with couple of narrow wins over Lapel and Western Boone. Hamilton Heights opened the weekend with a 46-45 win over Lapel behind 19 points from Etherington. Then, one night later, Etherington scored 21 more in a 65-58 win over Western Boone. Etherington ranks in the metro Indianapolis area in scoring (22.6 /game) and is also averaged 7.2 points, 2.5 steals and 1.4 blocks.

Other Notables: Washington (Ind.) junior Cody Zeller put up 25 points and 10 rebounds to lift the Class 3A No. 1 Hatchets (12-0) to a 65-57 win over Jasper. Zeller followed that up with a 24-point effort the following night in a 70-31 win over Gibson Southern…the struggles for Muncie Central and junior guard Jeremiah Davis continued this weekend, as Muncie Central (4-7) dropped games to Richmond (62-53) and Noblesville (49-41). Davis scored 14 in the loss to Richmond, which hadn't won a conference game in nearly two years before the win. Davis was then held to just two points in the eight-point setback to Noblesville on Saturday…Lake Clifton H.S. senior Josh Selby exploded for 44 points to lead his 11th ranked team to a 78-75 win over Ballou. One day earlier, Selby scored 24 in an easy 77-46 win over Forest Park…Gary Wallace junior Branden Dawson scored 25 points – including a critical late 3-pointer – to lead his team to an 82-70 win over Peoria Notre Dame…Marshall Plumlee earned game MVP honors after scoring seven points and pulling down seven rebounds to lead Arden (N.C.) Christ School to a 57-52 over St. Vincent-St. Mary's in the championship game of the National Hoops Classic. In the opening round of the event, Plumlee had eight points, 10 rebounds and two blocks in a 71-53 win over Wilmington (Ohio) H.S. Earlier during the week, Plumlee scored 13 points in a 75-49 win over Providence Day while North Carolina Coach Roy Williams scouted him from the sidelines…One night after scoring 21 points to lead Class 4A No. 2 North Central to a 59-55 win over Lawrence North, sophomore D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera scored 14 more to help his team to a 71-52 win over Warren Central in the championship game of the Marion County Tournament. Smith-Rivera is averaging 18.0 points per game…Pendleton Heights sophomore Kellen Dunham scored 21 points to help his team to a 52-41 win over Shelbyville, lifting the Arabians to 9-4. One night earlier, Dunham was held to 10 in a 40-38 loss to North Palestine…Carmel sophomore A.J. Hammons was limited to just four points, but the ninth-ranked Greyhounds got 17 from Alex Payne and 13 from Robert Kitzinger in a 56-45 win over Kokomo…Broad Ripple sophomore Ron Patterson broke loose for 19 points, leading his team to a 65-51 win over Arlington…Melbourne Florida Air Academy senior Will Yeguette had 15 points in a 65-49 loss to William Dwyer H.S. One night earlier, Yeguette had 20 in a 78-73 win over First Academy in Orlando.
