Victor Oladipo, 6-4, 200, Dematha Catholic (Md.) H.S. – After suffering back-to-back losses a week ago, DeMatha bounced back with a 70-54 win over St. John's last week. Oladipo scored nine in the game, while Quinn Cook led the way with 30. DeMatha was scheduled to be in action Friday night as well against Good Counsel, but weather forced the postponement of that contest. DeMatha is now 19-3 and ranked No. 22 nationally by USA Today. Oladipo is averaging 11.8 points/game.

Will Sheehey, 6-6, 190, Sagemont (Fla.) Upper School– It was a busy week for Sheehey's Sagemont team. Sheehey opened the week with a 14-point, eight-assist performance to help his team to a 56-52 win over Tampa Oldsmar. He followed that up with a 12-point effort in a 46-35 win over LaSalle HS., and then capped his week with 14 points in a 57-52 loss to USA Today's 10th-ranked team nationally, Montverde Academy. Sagemont was also originally scheduled to face Dwyer H.S. on Saturday, but that game was cancelled so Sagemont could play the nationally-televised game against Montverde one night earlier. Sheehey is now averaging 18.5 points and 6.8 rebounds per game.

Matt Carlino, 6-2, 180, Bloomington (Ind.) South H.S. - Carlino had been sick during the week and was less than 100 percent in Saturday night's 67-49 win over Columbus North. Carlino scored only six points on 2-of-7 shooting, but did chip in with 12 rebounds and six assists. The victory for Class 4A No. 1 Bloomington South (16-0) was its 42nd straight over the last two seasons. In addition to being the unanimous No. 1 team in the state, South is also ranked No. 9 nationally by USA Today. Carlino is now averaging 14.6 points, 5.9 rebounds and 4.3 assists and is shooting 51.5 percent from the field (87-of-169) and 37.5 percent from behind the 3-point arc (27-of-72). South faces its toughest remaining obstacle to an unbeaten regular season on Saturday when it goes on the road to face Warren Central (11-5).

Austin Etherington,6-6, 190, Hamilton Heights (Ind.) H.S. - Etherington scored a game-high 27 points – including a perfect 11-of-11 effort from the free-throw line – but it wasn't enough as Hamilton Heights (11-5) fell to Westfield 70-63 Saturday night. Friday night's game against Maconaquah, meanwhile, was postponed due to weather. Etherington continues to rank among the Indianapolis area's leading scorers, averaging 23.1 points, to go along with 7.0 rebounds, 3.2 steals and 1.3 blocks.

Other Notables: Vincennes Lincoln's Jantzen Goodwin scored on a rebound basket with :00.4 left to cap a 57-55 upset of Cody Zeller's Class 3A No. 2 Washington. Zeller had 20 points and 13 rebounds…Muncie Central continued its improved play with a 71-66 win over Pendleton Heights Saturday. Junior Jeremiah Davis led Muncie Central with 17, while sophomore Kellen Dunham topped Pendleton Heights with 23…Carmel sophomore center A.J. Hammons was limited to six points in a 67-55 loss to Zionsville…Lawrence Central sophomore Jeremy Hollowell had one of his best games of the season, scoring 22 to lead LC (5-8) to a 76-67 win over Manual…Florida Air Academy senior Will Yeguette had 21 points in a one-point win over Pine Crest H.S., 24 against The Rock High School, and nine in a 65-29 win over Satellite H.S…Lake Clifton senior Josh Selby scored 33 in a 72-66 win over Dunbar H.S. on Tuesday. Lake Clifton's weekend game against Forest Park was postponed due to weather…Marshall Plumlee missed both of Arden (N.C.) Christ School's games last week with minor injuries. Christ School won both games and is ranked 17th nationally…Winter Park (Fla.) junior Austin Rivers scored 41 to lead his 16th-ranked team to a 87-76 win over Ft. Lauderdale Pine Crest. While Rivers – the fourth-ranked player in the 2011 class - was scoring 41 for Winter Park, Brandon Knight – the second-ranked player in the 2010 class - scored 48 for Pine Crest.
