2010 Big Man Set to Visit IU This Week

Bloomington - Indiana's 2010 recruiting efforts appear to be far from over. Scout.com's Dave Telep has learned that the Hoosiers will welcome a big man to campus later this week...

According to Scout.com National Recruiting Director Dave Telep, Indiana will have a 2010 big man prospect on campus later this week.

Telep reported today that 6'9", 235-pound Moses Abraham from Progressive Christian (Md.) Academy will be on hand for Thursday's game against Wisconsin. Abraham will be joined by 2010 signee Victor Oladipo, whom Abraham knows according to his guardian, Joe Boncore.

A native of Nigeria, Abraham has been attracting interest from some big-name programs this spring. Last month, Boncore told Telep that Maryland, LSU, Georgetown, Rutgers, Miami (Fla.) and Virginia Commonwealth had offered, while Tennessee, Arizona State, Texas, UCLA and Marquette are among the other programs showing interest.

Indiana, meanwhile, has seemingly surfaced just recently. Telep reported that IU Coach Tom Crean took a private jet to see Abraham last week. That helped IU land a visit from Abraham, who is also scheduled to visit Arizona State on March 4 and Tennessee on March 6.

Abraham is averaging around 14.0 points per game this season.
