The man that all IU basketball fans are talking about these days – Moses Abraham - won't be making just one trip to the area in the coming weeks. He'll likely be making two.
Hoosier Nation has learned that the 6'9", 237-pound power forward from Progressive Christian (Md.) Academy will not only be making an official visit to Bloomington within the next week, but he's also expected to return the Louisville in April to compete in the Derby All-Star Classic.
According to a source, Abraham's official visit will be next week, potentially Tuesday. It will be his fourth official visit, coming on the heels of earlier trips to Tennessee, Georgetown and Maryland. While that quartet and a handful of other big-name schools have expressed interest in adding him to their 2010 recruiting classes, indications are that Indiana and Georgetown are his two finalists.
In addition to the official visit, Abraham has also committed to participating in the Kentucky Derby Festival Basketball Classic on April 10 at Freedom Hall in Louisville. The high school All-Star game features some of the nation's top high school recruits and generally attracts huge crowds. Last year's game had an estimated crowd of 13,000.
Hoosier Nation will have more on Abraham in the coming days.
