The 6-foot-2, 250-pound defensive end has now taken visits to Arizona and Iowa State and has also cut his list down from five to three schools.
"My final three are Central Florida, Iowa State, and South Florida," he said. "I'm going to visit Central Florida this weekend and I'm trying to also see South Florida when I'm down there."
For Cameron his weekend in Ames was a reunion with his former Auburn defensive coordinator.
"Coach Rhoads is just a really big factor because of what he is all about," said Henderson. "If I choose Iowa State I would say that about half the reason would be because of Coach Rhoads. He's just the same person every time and he's always level-headed and that's why I like him so much as a coach."
Henderson also enjoyed getting to know to the guy who could possibly be his future position coach if he chose Iowa State.
"I had talked with Coach Bray a lot before but I had never met him and we really got to talk for a while and I would say we really have a good relationship," he said. "He told me about how I could fit into their defense and we watched some of their game film. He said that sometimes I would play in packages where I would drop back and other times I would just straight pass rush."
Cameron also enjoyed getting to know some of the Cyclone players.
"My host was Ter'Ran Benton and I also hung out a lot with Leonard Johnson," said Henderson. "I feel like we became pretty good friends and I definitely bonded with both of them. They just told me that all the coaches were really great at Iowa State and that they needed me on their defense and really wanted me to come join them at Iowa State."
Henderson will be done with his visits after this weekend but he is not sure when he will make a final decision.
"I could make a decision soon after my visit this weekend or I could wait," he said. "I definitely need time to talk with my parents and then I'll make my choice sometime in the next month."
