The 6-foot-4, 230-pound defensive end holds offers from Iowa State, New Mexico, and Army. He told Cyclone Sports Report that he is already developing a solid relationship with Iowa State.
"Coach Bleil came by my school during the spring and he's been great," said Irokansi. "We communicate a lot and he told me that they really want me. He told me that he likes my athleticism and that I have a great frame. He really likes the way I rush the passer and he told me that I'm the type of player that Coach Rhoads loves in his program."
While Victor has yet to meet the Iowa State head coach he is very impressed with what Coach Rhoads has already done in his two years in Ames.
"I feel fortunate to already have a great Big 12 offer and Coach Rhoads is doing a great job of really bringing the program back up by beating teams like Texas and Nebraska. They are definitely an up and coming program."
So what will be the most important factor when Irokansi takes his visit to Iowa State?
"Meeting all the coaches and players are important but my final decision will not be based off all of that," he said. "The most important thing for me will be whether I can see myself living there for the next four or five years."
