There's more warts, of course, if you want to pile on the man while he's down. Attendance has flatlined. Profits have sagged. He's perceived within his own athletic department as a lone ranger, wielding complete autonomy without regard for the consequences. If Eustachy is 23-9 in the Big 12 over the last two seasons, would Iowa State athletic director Bruce Van De Velde is standing before the media late Wednesday afternoon recommending that he be terminated?
