Two Hoops Camps Remain Open

AMES, Iowa -- Only two basketball camps hosted by Iowa State remain out of the several camps scheduled to aid youth and high school basketball players. The two camps remaining are an individual camp for boys and a shooting camp for girls.

* Individual Camp (Boys ages 8-17) - The Individual Camp provides fundamentals of basketball in which campers will be learning new drills, how to improve their skills and how to become an all-around basketball player. The staff includes some of the best camp coaches in America who will be working with the campers to show them how to be successful on the court. The camp will be held July 27-30.

* Shooting Camp (Girls ages 10-18) - The Shooting Camp is a high intensity camp for the more advanced player who is looking to perfect her shooting skills. Individual instruction will be taught by ISU coaching staff, players and high school coaches. The focus of the camp is shooting, but provides a breakdown of specific skills and post positions. The camp will be held August 1-3.
