Two Focused on Peters

FOX Sports NEXT is in the streets this fall to bring you all the coverage from across the Midlands region. Recently, we caught up with Cy Falls running back Bryce Peters from Houston, Texas to talk about what his recruiting plans are now that the season is over.

Players these days like to feel the love.

So when they find themselves with more than a few offers on the table, then it comes down to what programs seem like they are the most interested. For Houston (TX) Cy Falls running back Bryce Peters, that is what he is experiencing right now.

"It's probably New Mexico and Colorado State for me. Those are the two schools I am trying to set visits up with right now," Peters said. "These schools are showing me the most interest."

Peters said that coaches from both programs have been by the school recently. And besides the obvious high interest these schools have in the 5-foot-10, 200-pound Peters, there are other important factors at play.

"I think I have the chance to play early with these schools. They are both rebuilding," Peters said. "It is not the decided factor, but I do want the chance to play."

This season Peters had 1,653 yards and 19 touchdowns.
