Afterward, Bundrage told me he was getting pretty basic looks from Iowa's secondary, which was backing off wideouts later in the game in a pseudo-prevent defense. That's probably the reason the Cyclones had such success in the passing game in the fourth quarter, despite everybody in the building knowing what was coming.
Bundrage said he didn't notice many double-teams or safeties shading their coverage toward him. That will soon change.
