Iowa State fills a huge position of need for its 2014 class

Iowa State has picked up commit No. 20 of its 2014 recruiting class in Copiah-Lincoln (MS) JUCO middle linebacker Jordan Harris, the nation's leading tackler this past season.

The commitment satisfies a huge need for Iowa State, which needs a middle 'backer to replace Jeremiah George. Harris is expected to contend right away for the job

"I didn't want to wait, I'm ready to be a Cyclone," Harris told AllCyclones.com.

Harris told Paul Rhoads the news Tuesday night. He won't visit Cincinnati over the weekend as he had previously planned.
