Below is the tentative official visits schedule for Lawton (OK) three-star running back Michael Warren.
Jan. 17: Tulsa.
Jan. 24: Iowa State.
Jan. 31: Southern Miss OR Wisconsin.
"I'm probably going to replace Southern Miss with Wisconsin [on Jan. 31]," Warren said in a text message Thursday.
The Badgers haven't offered yet but Warren said, "I assume they're close if they want me to come visit."
An Oklahoma target until the Sooners reeled in five-star Joe Mixon, Warren was offered by Iowa State the week of Jan. 10.
The 6-foot-1, 185-pound Warren held a prior offer from Washington State and recently got a call from Wake Forest.
"I have no problem with distance," he said. "Wherever the best opportunity is, I'll go there."
For now, it appears Warren has narrowed his final options to a top three or four.
The highlight of Warren's season might have been a 330-yard, five-touchdown performance against Edmond Santa Fe, on 26 carries. Warren, the No. 78 running back in 2014, scored on gains of 21, 29, 55, 63 and 70 yards.
