Cyclones Hosting Two From South Dakota

Two of Iowa State's confirmed visitors for this weekend's Junior Day hail from Roosevelt High School in Sioux Falls

Grant Schmidt and Taryn Christion told AllCyclones.com on Monday they'll be in Ames this upcoming weekend for Iowa State's first Junior Days.

The two are teammates at Roosevelt High School in Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

The 6-foot-7 Schmidt, a three-star 2015 offensive lineman, has offers from Minnesota, Utah, Washington State, North Carolina and South Dakota State. Christion, an athletic quarterback, also has an offer from SDSU.

Iowa State will have around 15 to 20 athletes at its March 8 Junior Day. On the agenda is the men's basketball game against Oklahoma State at Hilton Coliseum. The Cyclones don't have any commits yet in the 2015 class.

Starting Cyclones center Tom Farniok is also from Sioux Falls, graduating from Washington HS in 2010.
