Quenton Bundrage led the way as Iowa State’s big play receiver last season with a team-leading 48 catches for 676 yards and nine touchdown receptions and was supposed to do the same this season as the team's playmaker.
A freak twist of his knee on the game's fourth play, however, has ended his campaign suddenly. Bundrage has a torn ACL and will miss the remainder of the season.
Bundrage said it 'wouldn't hurt' to apply for a medical redshirt, which would give the redshirt junior two more seasons to play. He addressed the media for the first time since the injury on Wednesday evening.
