Iowa State coaches will be on the recruiting trail beginning today, taking advantage of the first bye week of the season to evaluate and visit players around the country.
The Cyclones are allowed 42 recruiting days during the fall evaluation period and will use more than half of those in the next three days.
"You’re allowed 42 recruiting days in the fall evaluation period and Thursday we’re going to use seven of them, Friday we’re using 10 of them and Saturday we’re using nine of them," coach Paul Rhoads said. "It’s extremely important right now and we’re going all the way to North Carolina and we’re going all the way to California. We’re covering a lot of schools, a lot of ground and seeing a lot of kids."
