AUSTIN, TEXAS — Dominic DeLira rolls out of the pocket and fires passes with high velocity and strong accuracy, and the senior quarterback from Lake Travis (TX) is still learning in his final season before arriving at Iowa State next year.
DeLira , who is a 6-foot-1 three-star, committed to Iowa State and offensive coordinator Mark Mangino in June. The quarterback's biggest trouble during his prep career has been playing full games as his Lake Travis team has often been so far ahead that his nights have come to an end at halftime or shortly thereafter.
Ahead of Iowa State playing in Austin, Texas, AllCyclones.com caught up with DeLira for a quick update after he played two quarters, connecting on two touchdown passes while running in another.
