Coordinator Speak: Burnham Talks Kansas

Iowa State will travel to Kansas this weekend with its defense seeking to get back on track. Defensive coordinator Wally Burnham looks ahead at the matchup

Wally Burnham's defense is hoping that a trip to Lawrence, Kan., will solve the troubles it has faced in recent weeks.

After surrendering a combined 100 points and 1,263 yards of total offense in the last two games against Texas and Oklahoma, the Iowa State defensive unit is seeking improvement. That improvement will need to come without middle linebacker Jevohn Miller, who tore his ACL against Oklahoma on Saturday and is done for the season.

Burnham looked ahead at Kansas' offense on Tuesday night and also talked about the combo that will replace Miller in the middle, linebackers Kane Seeley and Alton Meeks.
