It's Official: GameDay Set For Ames

What has long been anticipated is now official: ESPN's College GameDay is coming to Hilton Coliseum when Iowa State hosts Kansas on Jan. 17

What has long been anticipated since the schedule was released is now official: ESPN's College GameDay is headed to Hilton Coliseum.

ESPN made its intentions official Tuesday that, when Iowa State hosts Kansas on Jan. 17 at Hilton, its morning broadcast will be in Ames. Tipoff is set for 8 p.m.

The show has become a signature in college basketball, and when it kicks off its 10th season on the air, it'll do so in Ames for the first time ever. GameDay will begin at 9 a.m. CT on ESPNU, continuing at 10 a.m. CT on ESPN with an evening edition leading into Iowa State’s showdown with Kansas. Doors will open for the event at 7 a.m.

GameDay's set this season includes analysts Seth Greenberg and Jay Williams along with host Rece Davis and analyst Jay Bilas. Bilas will also serve as analyst for the game, alongside Dan Shulman and reporter Shannon Spake.
