Moran Picks Up Iowa State Offer

2016 four-star running back Kentrail Moran from O'Fallon (Ill.) added an Iowa State offer on Friday

Kentrail Moran is drawing interest from a number of schools, and as the four-star running back's recruitment begins to heat up, he has now added Iowa State to the list of schools that have offered.

Moran, who is a 5-foot-11, 190-pound running back from O'Fallon (Ill.) already held offers from Illinois, Michigan, Kansas, Indiana, Syracuse, Iowa, and Louisville among others. He added Iowa State to that growing list Friday.

"I've spoken to coach Lou [Ayeni] and coach [Derek] Hoodjer. I think they are a great school," Moran told AllCyclones.com on Friday. "They like everything."

Moran is ranked by Scout as the No. 1 running back from Illinois in the 2016 class. He started drawing some interest as a freshman, when he started on varsity, and has only seen that pick up since his junior season came to an end.

Described as a downhill, one-cut running back, Moran said he would like to make a decision before his senior season or in the middle of it. He plans to make a trip to Iowa State for a visit March 28.
