Things were looking rough for Iowa State, as the Cyclones trailed Texas by 16 points in the first half, held to a scoreless almost 10 minutes.

After a half time talk from head coach Fred Hoiberg, the Cyclones came back onto the court and fought their way through a 10 point deficit in the last three minutes of the game to come out with the 69-67 win, courtesy of a buzzer beater by Monte Morris, all in front of Sprint Center crowd packed with Iowa State fans.
