Steve Prohm's first week at the helm of the Iowa State men's basketball team came to an end Friday, but after focusing on his new team in the initial days, Prohm looked to the future Friday evening.
Per Scout.com's Brian Snow, Prohm extended scholarship offers to three Tennessee recruits Friday night. The recruits, who all play for the AAU squad Team Thad, are four-star point guard Jaylen Fisher and three-star point guard Jordan Bone and small forward Micah Thomas.
Prohm has yet to construct a coaching staff, but alluded to his strong southern ties after being introduced Tuesday and has already put those connections to work. Iowa State will have at least a handful of open scholarships to fill for the 2016-17 season.
