Coach Wayne Morgan announced via a news release Thursday that point guard Tim Barnes will be academically ineligible when the 2003-04 season begins. Barnes, a 6-foot senior who started all but one game last winter, will not be allowed to play until after the first semester, which ends Dec. 19.
