Cyclones Add Fifth Hoops Recruit

AMES, Iowa--The Iowa State men's basketball program signed Robert Faulkner to its 2004 recruiting class, Iowa State head coach Wayne Morgan announced today.

"We are all very excited about Robert joining our basketball family," Morgan said. "We look forward to the contributions he will make to our program. There is no question he will give us depth in our frontcourt."

Robert Faulkner (6-8, 225, sophomore), a preseason junior college All-American, signed a letter of intent to attend Iowa State University in the Fall of 2004. ISU's other signees include prep school players Rahshon Clark and Tasheed Carr, both top 150 national recruits, Aaron Agnew, a second-team all-Ohio center, and Anthony Davis, one of the nation's top junior college players.
