Ellis Hobbs - Cornerback
Returned an interception 34 yards for a touchdown to give the Cyclones their first points against Colorado on Saturday. It was Hobbs' sixth interception of his career, tying him for 10th in the ISU record books, and second of the season. Hobbs was one of three Cyclones to pick off passes, along with Tim Dobbins and Tyson Smith. ISU now has nine interceptions this season, one more than it had all of last season.
Todd Blythe – Wide Receiver
Posted a career-high (thus far) six receptions for 135 yards against Colorado. That includes a 43-yard touchdown reception, already his seventh of the season. He is now tied for third on Iowa State's single-season touchdown reception list, and needs one more to tie Tracy Henderson and Ty Watley for first. He is also just eight touchdown catches away from tying the career mark as well. The Indianola native is the only freshman in school-history to post two 100-yard receiving games in the same season.
Stevie Hicks – Running Back
Rushed 29 times for a game-high 108 yards against the Buffaloes, passing the century mark for the first time this season against a Division I-A opponent and the third time in his career. Hicks is the first ISU running back to gain more than 100 yards at Folsom Field since Troy Davis ran for 228 yards in 1996.
