ISU women's tennis receives academic honors

Four Cyclones earn individual honors.

The Intercollegiate Tennis Association honored the Iowa State women's tennis team as a 2005 All-Academic Team. This award is given to ITA programs that earn a cumulative team grade point of 3.20 or above (on a 4.00 scale).
Four Cyclones earned individual ITA scholar-athlete honors, given to varsity letter winners that have a GPA of at least 3.50 for the academic year and have been enrolled at their school for at least two semesters.
Chrissy Derouin and Caitlin Loprinzi were freshman honorees, while Jill Palen and Charlotte Ljungkrantz earned recognition for the second and third time, respectively.
