CYCLONE HORSE TRAILERS OF THE WEEK
Austin Flynn - Wide Receiver
Not only did Flynn lead the team in catches, he showed that he can be counted on to make the big catch. Twice Flynn came up with big catches on third down to move the chains. Flynn even made a tough 18 yard grab between two defenders on a third and 21 in the first quarter. The junior finished the game with seven catches for 64 yards.
Jason Berryman – Defensive lineman
For a guy that hadn't played in a year Berryman looked very good. He had four tackles, one pick, 1.5 tackles for loss, one sack and one pass break up, not bad for a defensive end.
Bret Meyer - Quarterback
The sophomore QB quietly had a great evening. After missing on his first two passes of the game Meyer hit on 19 of his next 23 passes including five out of five on the first drive of the second half. Meyer showed his maturity and leadership by coming out in second half and leading the offense on three consecutive touchdown drives. Meyer's final line was 30-41-0 for 314 yards and one TD.
Tony Yelk – Kicker
Yelk was perfect on all four of his kicks, three extra points and a 25 yard field goal in the fourth quarter. With everything he has been through it was great to see him out there knocking them through.
