ISU Women Place Sixth at SDSU Invitational

Lisa Koll once again led the Cyclone women today at the SDSU Invitational taking place at the Edgebrook Golf Course. Among 114 competitors, the freshman placed 18th with a time of 18:45.8.

Next across for the Cyclones was junior Meredith McKean.  She clocked a time of 19:23 to place 41st overall.  Jessi Wild was the next Iowa Stater to cross the finish line, placing 52nd and earning a time of 19:43.5.  Not far behind, Dawn Caffrey ran the 5K in 19:49.3.  Junior Krysta Metz crossed the line in 19:54.1.  Mackenzie Madison and Bobbie Humble rounded out the race for the Iowa State women.

 

With a total of 191 points, the team came in sixth of 12 teams.  Minnesota won the women's division with 25 points.  Nebraska and South Dakota State placed second and third, respectively.
