How long have you been associated with Iowa State athletics?

I started as a student in 1992.  From 1994-1996 I working in the Athletic Department in Marketing and Promotions.  I had the fortune to work with some great people like Gene Smith and Pete Taylor.

I currently am a member of the National Cyclone Club Advisory Council and a season ticket holder for both football and men's basketball.

Do you get together with friends or co-workers to tailgate before the games?

My family tailgates with extended family and friends for every home game. Many of my co-workers are also Cyclone supporters and season ticket holders.

What are some of your favorite Iowa State moments?

Beating Kansas to win the Big Eight Tournament
Playing Michigan State
in the Elite Eight
Beating Nebraska in 1992
Beating Iowa in
Iowa City on the back of Seneca Wallace in 2002

What are your thoughts on the current football season and the upcoming basketball seasons?

As we learned last year momentum is critical in both sports.  Both teams started slow and then got on a roll.  I think it is important again this year to keep things rolling when we are winning.  The way we bounce back against Baylor this week will tell us a lot about our football team.  Men's basketball is going to need a new presence inside.  I also hope our guards have improved their outside shooting which will be key to opening up options offensively.

Bill Fennelly has a great freshmen class coming in that will need to contribute quickly in order for them to continue the success of last year.  I have confidence in all three coaching staffs and believe they will have their players ready for every game.

Is there anything else you would like to mention?

Go Cyclones and I would love a trip to Houston the first weekend in December!
