Notes from Iowa State's 37-10 Homecoming victory over Oklahoma State.

Individual Notes

•Meyer's 227 yards passing today gives him 3,475 yards passing in his career. Today, he passed Tim Van Galder (3,417 yards, 1964-66) for seventh place in ISU annals. In sixth place is Bret Oberg (3,602 yards, 1988-89).

LaMarcus Hicks is the second Cyclone to grab two interceptions in a game this season. Steve Paris had two at Army.

Bret Culbertson's three field goals today tie a career high. Culbertson drilled three field goals (in four attempts) in last year's 37-23 victory at Kansas State on Nov. 20.

•Culbertson's 13 points today tie a career-high. Culbertson tallied 13 points in last year's 37-23 win over Kansas State.

•Bret Culbertson's 43-yard field goal in the first quarter is a career long. His previous long was a 42-yard field goal in the first quarter at Missouri last week.

•Culbertson is now 16-20 on field goals and 30-30 on PATs in 12 career games.

•David Brown's led the team in rushing attempts and yards today (15 carries, 82 yards). This was the first game of his career in which he registered attempts and yards.

Ryan Kock's five-yard rushing touchdown was his 10th of the season and marks the sixth time in seven games that he has rushed for a touchdown. He has rushed for four touchdowns in the last two games.

Today, Coach Dan McCarney won his fifth Homecoming game at ISU. This is a school record. The previous record was four Homecoming wins by Abe Stuber (1947-53), Clay Stapleton (1958-67) and Earle Bruce (1973-78).

Coach McCarney is now 23-13 at home since 2000. He is 35-15 when leading at the half. McCarney's teams are 33-6 when scoring first since 1999.

Team Notes

Iowa State's five turnovers (4 int./1 fumble) were the most by an Iowa State team since the Cyclone forced six turnovers (five int./1 fumble) in a 49-7 win at Kansas on Nov. 17, 2001.1.

Iowa State's four interceptions were the most by an ISU team since the Cyclones made four interceptions in a 48-41 win over Northern Illinois on Sept. 18, 2004.

Iowa State has scored 74 points on 20 opponent turnovers this season. ISU opponents have scored 43 points off of 14 ISU turnovers this season.

•Today's 37 points are the most since Iowa State tallied 37 points in a 37-23 victory at Kansas State last season.

•Today's 37 points are the most in a home game versus a Big 12 Conference opponent since ISU defeated Missouri 42-35 on Nov. 2, 2002.

•This is the largest margin of victory in a conference game since the Cyclones defeated Kansas 45-3 on Aug. 31, 2002.

•This the largest margin of victory in a Homecoming game since ISU topped Kansas 42-14 on Oct. 22, 1988.
