Horse Trailer of the Week

Finding just three nominees after a such a thorough demolition of Texas A&M isn't easy, and it's even harder to single one person out above all others.

Bret Meyer: Completed 20 of 32 passes for a career-high 371 yards and four touchdowns in the win over Texas A&M.  Also scampered for 21 yards on a key 3rd-and-20 early in the third quarter that thwarted the Aggies' last gasp at regaining the momentum.

Todd Blythe: Set an Iowa State record with four touchdown catches along with career highs with eight catches for 214 yards, which was the second most receiving yards in a game in school history.  Had the best receiving day ever against Texas A&M and ever at Kyle Field.  Nominated to be USA Today National Player of the Week and named the Walter Camp Foundation co-National Player of the Week.

Nick Leaders: Refused to be blocked all afternoon, spending most of the game in the opponent's backfield.  Finished with three tackles-for-losses, a sack, a forced fumble, and a deflected pass. His 46 consecutive games played is the second-longest active streak in all of college football.
