Moore Excited to Visit ISU

Mitchell Moore is one more Iowa State recruit that will be in Ames during the weekend of December 9. Moore talks about his thoughts on the Cyclones.

Mitchell Moore, a 5'11, 195 pound running back out of Gurnee, Illinois is all set to join the slug of recruits in Ames on Dec. 9, and he's looking forward to it.

Moore has already taken a visit to Ohio and has one scheduled in January with Illinois. Iowa State is the only other visit that Moore will take. Moore visited unofficially earlier in the year.

"Iowa State's a good program and I really like the coaches there so they have a good chance," said Moore.

It's been no secret that the Iowa State coaching staff has been on the road recruiting in that past week, and they've kept in touch with Moore as well.

"Coach Fitch came over for a home visit. He got to visit with me and my mom. He came to my basketball practice so that was good," said Moore.

Moore sees a lot of different things when he looks at Iowa State that give them a big upside. One of those is the fact that Iowa State is in the Big 12 and is on national television.

"They have a winning record which is good and they're playing in a bowl game. It's a good conference. They get on TV a lot so they have a lot of upside," said Moore.

Another big plus for the Cyclones is the style of football that they play, and Moore is excited about the possibility of fitting into the system.

"I think I would fit in really well with their system. I like the way they do things out of the one back and things like that," said Moore.
