Cyclone Swimming & Diving Team Host Iowa

The Cyclone swimming and diving team will play host to the Iowa Hawkeyes Friday night at 7 p.m., in Beyer Hall. The Cyclones were defeated by the Hawkeyes last season 85-214 in Iowa City.

The Cyclone swimming and diving team will play host to the Iowa Hawkeyes Friday night at 7 p.m., in Beyer Hall. The Cyclones were defeated by the Hawkeyes last season 85-214 in Iowa City.

The Cyclones are coming off of a 162-120 victory over Northern Iowa and hope to expand Iowa State's 5-2 lead in the Hy-Vee Cy-Hawk series.  The Cyclones defeated Iowa in football and women's soccer, while Iowa took the victory in wrestling.

Iowa State will attend swimming and diving training sessions in Ft. Lauderdale, Fl., and San Antonio, Texas beginning Dec. 30, 2005. The Cyclones will start the second semester by traveling to Northfield, Minn., to compete against St. Olaf on Jan. 13, 2006 at 5 p.m.
