Update on Cyclones in the NFL and NBA

Jordan Carstens-Carolina

          Carolina lost to Tampa Bay 20-10. Carstens recorded 2 tackles in the loss. Carolina drops to 9-4 with the loss.


Reggie Hayward-Jacksonville

          Jacksonville lost to Indianapolis 26-18. Hayward had a great game logging 2 sacks and 3 tackles. The loss hurt the Jags playoff chances dropping their record to 9-4.


Ellis Hobbs-New England

          New England whipped Buffalo 35-7. Ellis grabbed an interception from struggling QB J.P. Losman. New England looks to continue the streak taking on Tampa Bay next week.


James Reed-New York Jets

          Reed played impressively as the Jets beat the lowly Raiders 26-10. Reed had 5 tackles including a sack. Reed and the Jets will head south to Miami and take on the Dolphins in week 15.


Sage Rosenfels-Miami

          Did not play. Miami was victorious over the Chargers 23-21.


Oliver Ross-Arizona

          Did not play. Arizona lost to Washington 17-13


Seneca Wallace-Seattle

          Seneca got in to the game providing some mop up duties as the Seahawks clubbed the Niners 41-3. He was 3 for 5 passing netting 60 yards. Wallace and the division leading Seahawks take on the Titans next week. 




Kelvin Cato-Orlando

          Cato and the Magic suffered through a rough week losing 2 games and winning 1. On Monday the Spurs won 110-85, Kelvin played 11 minutes racking up 4 boards and 2 points. Wednesday Orlando lost to the baby Bulls, 102-93, Cato did not play. Saturday Cato and the Magic won 94-83. Cato however did not play.


Jamaal Tinsley-Indiana

          Tinsley did not play this week. The Pacers went 2-1 losing to Dallas 84-75 and beat Washington and Memphis 111-87 and 80-66 respectively.

Jackson Vroman-New Orleans

          The Hornets lost all 4 games this week to the Grizzlies, Celtics, Trail Blazers and Kings dropping their record to 8-12. Vroman saw action at Memphis going 0-3 from the field and grabbing 5 rebounds. He had 2 points and 2 boards at home vs. Boston. Jackson rounded out the week hitting both shots from the field at Sacramento for 4 points and 3 rebounds in 11 minutes.
