It's been confirmed that Justin Robertson has committed to Iowa State. Robertson, a 6'2, 180 pound safety
out of Port Arthur,
Texas is extremely happy about his
recent choice of school and is looking forward to being a
"Iowa State was like home. It was somewhere
where I could play and the coaching atmosphere made me feel at home when I was
up there," said Robertson.
He said that he chose
Iowa State due to the fact that he feels he will be able to
play right away and that he loves the friendly atmosphere in Ames.
Robertson said that of all of the
things that he did on his visit to Iowa State, the number one thing that made him
want to commit was when the recruits got to watch the team practice.
"Watching them practice made me
hope that I could get out there," said Robertson.
Robertson went on to talk about
how he's going to bring more talent to the free safety position, a lot of size
and some speed. He's going to bring a lot to the field physically for the
Cyclones, but Robertson thinks his best feature is his brain on the football
"I see things and I can just pick
them up and learn," said Robertson.
Robertson picked Iowa State
over Minnesota, Arizona State and UTEP. He plans on majoring in
sociology when he gets to Iowa State.
