"Our focus all along has been Rachel's health, both in the short term and the long term," ISU head coach Bill Fennelly said. "It is an obvious loss for our team, but we hope things will go well and Rachel can start her career next season. I have been pleased with the progress of our team in her absence and knowing Rachel will not return, that improvement must continue at an even higher level."
