Farewell to Cyclone Nation

Chad writes a letter the subscribers of Cyclone Nation.

First of all I want to wish all my fellow Cyclone fans a very Merry Christmas!  Hopefully Santa will give us a win over TCU and a strong finish to the basketball seasons.

Many of you have been asking where I have been the last few days so I wanted to address my situation.  As of yesterday I handed in my resignation to Cyclone Nation.

Over the past 6 months I have spent countless hours attending local Cyclone Club outings, walking around talking to many of you at tailgates and obviously seeing many of you at games.  Those times talking with all of you have been the most enjoyable days of work I have ever experienced.  I can't tell you how much I will miss those times.

Just because I won't be working for Cyclone Nation anymore doesn't mean you won't see me around.  I'll still be at all the games, I'll still be tailgating just like the rest of you next fall, I'll still be involved with the Greater Des Moines Cyclone Club and of course I'll still be at all the games.  I am extremely disappointed things didn't work out at Cyclone Nation because it was a dream job for me but rest assured my love for the Cyclones has never been stronger and I look forward to seeing each and every one of you in the future.

Thanks for the good times,

Chad Winterboer
