The Cyclone swimming and diving team competed in a winter training competition against UW Stevens Point on Dec. 30, 2005. Freshman Haley Haynes and sophomore Kali Fryklund had an impressive showing during the meet.
Haynes took first place honors in both competitions with 264.70 points on the 1M
and 303.15 points on the 3M board. Haynes' finish on the 3M qualified her
for the NCAA Zone Diving Championships held in March. The Woodlands, Texas
native is now standing in third place for the ISU All-Time Top 10 list for the
3M and in 10th for the 1M.
Sophomore Kali Fryklund finished in fourth
place on the 1M board with 191.50 points.
The Cyclones will face St. Olaf
on Jan. 13, 2005 in Northfield, Minn. at 5 p.m. Results can be found at
