ISU Swim & Dive Team Completed Regular Season

The Iowa State swimming and diving team completed the regular season Saturday morning with a 114-183 loss to the Kansas Jayhawks in Beyer Hall. The Cyclones and Jayhawks completed the two day dual Saturday morning after the Cyclones' nine seniors were honored.

Junior Lauren Breunig hit the wall first in the 100 IM with a time of 59.56, freshman Lindsay Wegner came in third place (1:00.80) and senior Tami Ritchie finished in sixth place with a time of 1:03.32.

Breunig also took first place in the 50 free touching the wall first in 24.67. Cassandra Nelson, junior, finished in fifth place (25.49).

Senior Kim Rogers took second place in the 150 back with a time of 1:31.65 and fellow senior Maggie Peterson followed in fourth place (1:33.57). 

Rogers touched the wall first in the 200 IM with a time of 2:08.35.  Following closely behind Rogers was sophomore Lindsay Wiesner in second place (2:17.95) and senior Shannon Parker in third place (2:22.71).

The second place 200 free relay team of Breunig, Nelson, freshman Lindsay Wegner and Peterson hit the wall in a time of 1:37.50.
