Cody Hundertmark, a 6'4, 270 pound lineman out of Humbolt, Iowa walked away from Iowa State's Junior Day with a very good taste in his mouth about Cyclone football.

"I really liked meeting the coaches. It was pretty much my first chance to talk with them a lot. I met up with them a little bit before that but not as much as on Junior Day," said Hundertmark.

Along with attending Iowa State's Junior Day, Hundertmark attended Iowa's as well.

"They're coaches were pretty nice too. Both of the days were pretty similar," said Hundertmark.

Along with Iowa State and Iowa, Hundertmark is also receiving early attention from Wisconsin, Kansas, Kansas State and Purdue.

"I'm definitely interested. It's very equal for everyone who's talked to me so far. It's still really early and I haven't thought about it that much yet," said Hundertmark.

Though he's been playing on both sides of the ball, Cody is planning on playing defensive line when he gets to college.

"That's what most people I talk to think. It's pretty much what everyone tells me. I'd rather play defense too," said Hundertmark.

Cody's high school team went 8-2 with a loss in the first round of the playoffs. Cody is planning on running track to help prepare him for football in the spring.

Cyclone Nation will keep you updated with the recruitment of Hundertmark.
