Fizer has once again signed a 10-day contract and this time with the New Orleans Hornets. He is yet to see any playing time.
He averaged 22.7 ppg and 7.8 rpg while garnering NBADL (NBA Development League) MVP honors.
This is probably Fizer's last chance to make a permanent NBA roster this year and he could find himself helping the Hornets in their playoff run. First things first though, he must find his way off the bench and into some minutes or he will go right back down like he did with his short stint with the Sonics.
Vroman, on the other hand, found himself off an NBA roster after he broke his wrist on February 22, ending his season. The Hornets had to make room for another former Cyclone, Marcus Fizer, in hopes that he can help fuel the Hornets into the playoffs
Jamaal Tinsley-Indiana Pacers
Tinsley has averaged 9.6 points, 5.8 assists and 4.2 rebounds while playing an average of 29 minutes in his last 5 games. Although not putting up bad numbers, the Pacers have dropped those five games, and head Coach Rick Carlisle has decided to put veteran Anthony Johnson back into the starting lineup.
Tinsley will have to keep his head up and keep getting healthy as the Pacers will need him in the playoffs.
Kalvin Cato-Detroit Pistons
The Detroit Pistons have not listed Cato on the injured list, but Cato has not seen any playing time since a sprained right ankle put him on the injury list way back on January 18.
Hopefully Cato can find some playing time before this season ends and make the Detroit roster next year.
