The Iowa State men's golf team carded a final-round 309 today for a three-round 910 tally, finishing 12th at the Big 12 Men's Golf Championship in Tulsa, Okla. Oklahoma won the team race with an 858 total.
The Cyclones were led by sophomore Chris Baker, who tied for 27th with a three-round 224 total. Baker, who was an all-tournament team pick in last year's Big 12 Championship, carded a final round 75 today for the lowest Cyclone score in the third round. Sophomore Joe Cermak finished two strokes back of Baker, tying for 34th at 226 (73-77-76). Texas' Matt Rosenfeld earned medalist honors with an even-par 210 total.
The tournament concludes ISU's season. All five players who competed this week return for the Cyclones next year.
