Stinnett Waiting Until the Fall

P'Allen Stinnett remains to be a top target for the MBB coaches in 2007, but how long will it be until Stinnett reaches a decision? Stinnett talks about that and other schools in this CN recruiting update on P'Allen Stinnett.

P'Allen Stinnett is in no hurry to make a commitment, in fact the soon to be prep star is now going to wait until the fall to make his college decision.

"I'm going to wait until the fall," Stinnett said.

So what has Stinnett been up to in the city of Las Vegas? Last weekend Stinnett, Craig Brackins and Andre McFarland all took part in an AAU tournament with the rest of the Las Vegas Prospects.

"Us guys were all separated during the month of June and we came together in July as a team and we played pretty well. We got to the championship game and couldn't quite pull it off," Stinnett said.

So how did P'Allen perform? Unfortunately, an injury kept Stinnett out of a lot of the action.

"I actually didn't play too much. I have a bruise in my calf so I had to sit out," Stinnett said.

Stinnett said that he is still planning on attending the Brewster Academy in the fall and he said that his favorites haven't changed.

At one point it looked like Big 12 powers Kansas and Oklahoma were going to be factors in the recruitment of Stinnett, but Stinnett said that things have cooled off between him and those two schools.

As for Craig Brackins, he's still a Clone and Stinnett has taken note of that.

"Craig is a Cyclone. He ended up in a good place. Andre and myself are just waiting to see what happens."
