ISU Still in the Hunt for Harris

Bret Harris recently announced his top three to Iowa State wasn't included. Now, Harris talks to CN about why he is still interested in the Cyclones. Get the scoop here in this CN recruiting update on Bret Harris.

Earlier this week Bret Harris told that his top three consisted of Nebraska, Oklahoma State and Arkansas.


Harris, a 5'11 180 pound S out of MacArthur HS in Irving, TX, insists that he still has interest in Iowa State and plans on visiting at some point in the future.


"They aren't out of the picture. I'm still interested in them. I am going to plan a time to go up and visit," Harris said.


Harris is being recruited by Tony Alford, who according to Harris, is keeping in contact with the safety.


"I talk to him a lot, he's pretty cool. I like him," Harris said.


Harris currently holds offers from: Oklahoma State, Nebraska, Iowa State, TCU, Missouri, Arkansas, Tulsa, SMU, Tulane, San Diego State and Kansas State.


In his junior season, Harris recorded 77 tackles, two sacks, five pass break-ups and had six tackles for a loss.
